Junior IT Technician

Full-time junior level position managing both all-Mac and mixed Mac/Windows environments for NYC-based IT company. This is the perfect position for a young person looking to grow in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:
• Manage all aspects of technology for our clients including both systems and processes
• Serve as technician on new hardware and software installation, regular maintenance, troubleshooting, service interruptions and networking
• Build and maintain relationships with client stakeholders to discuss issues, analyze needs and recommend both short-term and long-term solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation on all client communication, system specifications and work performed
• Clearly communicate updates and issues to upper management
• Compose project quotes, timelines and budget plans
• Facilitate change management, training employees on technology updates and processes
• Educate clients on relevant changes in technology

• Excellent problem-solving ability: must be able to efficiently analyze an issue and make appropriate recommendations on how to proceed
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Superb written and interpersonal communications skills—relationship building with our clients is essential
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to prioritize—understanding the bigger picture for both the client and the business

• 2+ years of professional IT experience preferred
• Strong Mac experience
• Understanding of core concepts of MDM, VoIP, Server/FileSharing, Networking
• Desire to learn in a fast-paced environment

Salary – $30,000
Based in NYC. Must be onsite at most clients, light travel possible.
